This set of … more French set of six faience plates, made in the manufacture of Sarreguemines in the late 19th century. This set of historyzed plates retrace family scenes from July to december. The details of the costumes and sets are very neat and pitoresque. July: a child is fishing in the river with his father. August: a family is eating during the harvest break. September: children pick apples in a tree while others eat them. October: grape harvest, a couple picking the grapes with their child. November: a hunter targets a hare.
