An early 1840s era antique hand painted Grained Painted Dovetailed Blanket Chest. It has a dovetailed case with poplar wood. Original dovetailed bracket footed skirt. Original lock is missing the lid catch and has no key. No damage at the hinges or anywhere else. Nice condition after all these years. Beautiful reddish brown hand grained paint with some paint loss on the lid. 38 inches wide by 19 inches deep by 23 inches tall. Please note all photos for they too are a part of our descriptions.
