Mother of Pearl inlay depicts a gorgeous landscape scene with a stately castle in the background, gorgeous heavily detailed trees, birds, swans, and couple in a rowboat - amazingly detailed design (see close up photos). Fantastic scalloped edge detail and wonderful gold-leaf flourishes adorn the top and base. In great condition for the age of the piece, minor pieces worn off and light loss of paint for something of this age. Amazing patina makes this a wonderful statement piece, truly a work of art. Solid brass hardware. less
