Large Antique Compote or Cake Stand
Pink and White Transfer Print of settlers heading West through the Rocky Mountains with Indians watching in the background!
Size: Plate 13" diameter / Base 5" diameter / 9 1/8" Height
Materials: Earthenware, Brass, Gold Gilding
Date: 1800s

This is a large, very good quality compote or cake stand. There appears to be a makers mark under the plate where it is connected to the brass base. The base is pierced brass on a column. Great gift for the memorabilia collector of novel items. It appears to date from the later part of the 19th century.
