The 'Golden Bell' pendant lamp was designed for the interior of the Savoy restaurant in Helsinki by Alvar and his wife Aino in 1936. It was characteristic of Aalto to treat each building as a complete work of art, right down to the furniture and light fittings.
The shade has a whole pattern all around the rim which creates a nice light and shadow effect all around. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
