Japanese woodblock print, known as ukiyo-e ("pictures of the floating world") typically depicts the rich culture and way of life in Japan from hundreds of years ago. As a result of this unique art form, several wood print societies have been formed throughout the years in Japan. Gihachiro Okuyama made it to a few of the renowned societies in Japan. This one is titled "Shōren-in Temple in Kyoto" and signed with the artist's signature (stamp on the lower left).
