Made In the late 1890’s, hand-painted red and blue plate. Some wear and tear on the underside of the rims, only noticeable from the bottom. As with "genuine" Japanese Imari, there are no maker marks on the bottom, but the blue edging and decorations on the bottom signify c1900 late 1890s timeframe.
Has only ever been used as a display piece as my Grandmother bought it in the 1940s, back when she used to shop at antique and flea markets.
