This is a wonderful pair of antique late 1800s French cast iron lady andiron heads/busts ... perfect for bookend library decor, or office. Elegant salvaged iron that will be just right in your French Country, Rustic Farmhouse, or Shabby Chic home.
They are a deep rich oxidized brown Each bust features a detailed head of lady. I love the butterfly resting at the top of each head. At the base of each bust is the word "AIR".
This pair of lady portrait bust were originally French andiron fire dogs. They are no longer attached to the long irons that supported logs, and now make perfect bookends. Would also be beautiful featured separately. Maybe one with books and another next to a vase ... and might possibly be wonderful as small lamp bases! Be sure to view all photos!
