Beautiful, and rare, vintage Murano hand blown black and white spotted Italian art glass elephant sculpture. Documented to designer Archimede Seguso, from the "Bianco Nero" series. The figurine still retains an intact original "Archimede Seguso - Murano - Made In Italy" label on its foot. Nicely detailed piece, giving it great character. It has a little tail as well. Would make a great desk companion, or display on a side table or curio cabinet. The elephant has its trunk up, which many believe signifies good luck! Mid-century era. Collectors item. For accuracy, some of the white spots have a soft pinkish color (see tail photo). Measures: 7" tall x 5 1/4" long x 3 1/4" wide at the ears.
