Large pair of 1950s Stilnovo opaline brass and glass sconces. Executed in brass with a sculptural three sided opaline glass. An incomparably clean and refined design characteristic of midcentury Italian lighting at its highest level.
Price is for the pair.
Stilnovo was one of the most innovative Italian lighting design companies during the midcentury era. Their designs have been long sought after by knowledgeable collectors.

Rewired single socket 75w equivalent standard medium base bulb (lower with incandescent). Custom period style backplates added for mounting over a standard American j-box. Please note only one representative example appears in the photos. All lamps in comparable condition but show some subtle difference. Minor patina, scrapes, scuffs, and bends as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. More images available upon request. Not UL Listed.
