Beautiful hand colored engraving of an old sailing ship by Italian artist V Cioni. It is titled: "Polacre Ottoman 400 Tonneaux 1806". Maybe you will keep this as is, or get it framed? Either way it will be the talk of whatever setting it eventually finds itself in.
CONDITION PLEASE READ:
This engraving is essentially in good condition yet shows some signs of age and wear as all great vintage items do. There is a slight bend / crease towards the left hand bottom corner. (see pic #10). The border of the outer card has tape marks and scuffs in parts - please note though this is the outer card and not the actual print. if you were to get this piece framed, then this wouldn't be seen at all. Examine all the pictures closely. Zoom in & out to get a good sense of it's exact condition: a picture tells a thousand words. The item photos serve as a document as to its condition. You will receive the exact engraving pictured here.
The actual engraving measures: 16" height x 20 1/2" width.
The card / border surrounding it measures: 20 1/2" height x 26 1/4" width.
