Very nice vintage Chinese Satsuma Handled Basket with richly enamelled flowers over a black moriage ground. The central bowl is painted with a scene portraying elegant Geishas / Japanese ladies gathered in an outdoor setting near a lake, with a bridge and weeping willows. Mount Fuji in the background. Rich gold handle, rims and highlights throughout..
Marked in red on the underside.
