- This vibrant Fernand Leger (1881-1955, French) lithograph was printed in Paris in 1959 by the iconic Parisian Printer, Fernand Mourlot. … more This vibrant Fernand Leger (1881-1955, French) lithograph was printed in Paris in 1959 by the iconic Parisian Printer, Fernand Mourlot. The original piece was a poster by Leger for his exhibition in Paris at the Louis Carre' Galerie in 1953. In 1959 Mourlot created a number of "miniature" posters of the leading artists of the early to mid-century. This lithograph is an original from the 1959 printing. It is in excellent condition and shows only very minor toning to the border. When I purchased 22 of these miniatures I envisioned them in a grouping which would be spectacular.
