A small oval dutch silver gold plated box with a scene of the birth of venus.
a silver box, gold plated with a style-carved cameo in stone. The stone with a scene of a mythological depiction of the birth of venus. The box with hinged lid in the length. The box is fully dutch silver hallmarked. With the dutch hallmark "standing lion i" (925/1000 purity of silver), gold plated. Minerva head mark (office) with letter a for amsterdam.
the year letter v (crowned) for the year 1980 in memory of the inauguration of queen beatrix. The master sign of g.r.j. Haentjens dekker (1932-2011), worked during 1976-2011.
