Karl Blossfeldt Photogravure from the edition of the book 'Wunder in der Natur' in 1942. Photography number 15. 'Pirus alnifolia. Fruchtzweige in 1/2 facher Vergrößerung.' Photography number 19. Forsythia suspensa. junger Sproß der Forsythie in 10 facher Vergrößerung.' Photography number 18. Clematis recta. Waldrebe. Samen in 4 facher Vergrößerung.' Photography number 16. In original condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Karl Blossfeldt (June 13, 1865-December 9, 1932) was a German photographer, sculptor, teacher, and artist who worked in Berlin, Germany. He is best known for his close-up photographs of plants and living things, published in 1929 as, Urformen der Kunst quickly became an international bestseller and in turn, made Blossfeldt famous almost overnight. The photogravure comes framed. Measures: 40 x 50 x 1 cm The images shown have been scanned so the tone of the photogravure that you receive might differ a bit.
