The table has a central rectangular pedestal with square carvings. The feet are made of sinuously curved wood almost representing a semi-corner.
The table comes from a luxurious private home in Milan. The table top is an entire rectangular block ideal for seating many diners at the table. The table attributed to Paolo buffa is made using a wood bleaching technique. In fact, white veins can be seen on the inside. The table is ideal for classic and important dining rooms. Through its clear, clean-cut forms, the table lends the surroundings importance and solidity.
The table is in its original condition. It shows some light scratches due to its age. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
