Similar in style to the iconic B9 model that was used throughout Le Corbusier’s designs in the 1920s, these Thonet bentwood chairs are a true design classic.
Featuring the signature bentwood to create the backrest and arms, the chairs also have curved legs with further bentwood detailing as supports.
The wooden seats feature a beautiful pattern which highlights the natural grain, making it a feature. These chairs have comfortable bentwood backrests and the seats are professionally upholstered, and it will would make a great addition to your home for years to come.
All these furniture is considered today as "modern classics" and compete with the current design. Bentwood from the second half of the 19th century stood next to designs from the 21st century; Art Nouveau armchairs could be found next to seating furniture, which showed stylistic principles of functionalism.
