A beautiful pair of antique early 1900s Chinese pine courtyard doors with original iron hardware. These large thick doors were used as the front compound security gates in old city neighborhoods as well as rural areas. With a rustic slant and made of elm, they are stable with old decorative iron strapping. The doors are unfinished and have a wonderful weathered gray and rusted patina. With the wooden latches removed from the back, these would be great for sliders or garden gates, or use as a decorative panel or headboard.
The doors are 78.25" tall and do not include the height of the hinge pins top & bottom. These are an extra 5" top and 1.5" bottom. less
