These large thick doors were used as the front compound security gate in old city neighborhoods as well as rural areas. Made of elm, they are secured with old decorative iron strapping. The doors are unfinished and have a wonderful weathered and rusted patina. With the wooden latches removed from the back, these would be great for sliders or garden gates, or as a headboard or wall mounted decorative panel. The doors alone are 73" tall. The hinge pins top & bottom add another 4.75"... 3" for the top and 1.75 for the bottom. See less
