The tin features an embossed portrait of Princess Mary, surrounded by laurel wreaths and symbols representing the Allied nations. The inscription "Christmas 1914" adds a poignant touch, reminding us of the hope and camaraderie shared during a challenging time. Inside, the tin originally held a Christmas card, photograph of the princess, tobacco, cigarettes and stationary were sent out to sailors, soldiers and nurses.
