Description: This dinner service/cutlery was Georg Jensen's first set in stainless steel. It was designed in 1941 by Gundorph Albertus (1887-1970). … more This dinner service/cutlery was Georg Jensen's first set in stainless steel. It was designed in 1941 by Gundorph Albertus (1887-1970). Stainless steel was chosen due to the lack of silver during the Second World War. The name Mitra derives from the headware/hat of a Bishop (mitres-s) and resembles its distinct shape.

68 pcs of flatware dinner service: 12 knives, 12 forks, 12 tea spoons, 12 soup spoons, 10 dessert spoons, 1 palet knife, 1 pickle fork, 1 potato serving spoon, 1 marmelade spoon, 1 sauce spoon and 5 loose/spare spoons dessert/mustard/dinner. Measurements: standart sizes. Palet/cake knife measures 26 cm in length, sauce spoon: 20 cm, Potato spoon: 22 cm.
