all hand made with a high quality thick dark brown leather hide
superbly modelled and detailed sculpture with glass eyes
probably a special order and according to the previous owner this elephant was used in an exhibition display in belgium in the first half of 1900

only the exotic, but also strength, fidelity,
perseverance and longevity
