A poster for avant-garde artist Sonia Delaunay from c. 1970, it features the artist's name prominently, surrounded by abstract lines of black, green, red, yellow and blue. Born in the Ukraine, Delaunay moved to Paris in 1905 to join the avant-garde movement. Her decorative artwork was influenced by expressionism and fauvism, and she is known for her particular style called "orphism," similar to cubism. less
