Some snaps are attached to the aluminum frame and some snaps connect to the chair with clear plastic loos. There are a few snaps underneath that are not functional; and picks and slices and flaws. Upholstery is missing one button on one chair. Very usable still but up to new owner if you would like to replace. The aluminum frame green paint has many chips of green paint and marks of age, especially on the armless chairs as the upholstery doesnt protect the painted finish. Unsure if painted originally or a later add of the green. Definitely will want to retouch the green paint if you want the shiny and perfect look. One arm chair has a tilt to it - askew as you sit and turn. Will need attention to be absolutely plum. All of them swivel. less

The … more Sunny Dining Set from the Mid-Century is presented in this set of eight Aluminum Swivel Chairs by Russell Woodard.
The epitome of useful too with the original vinyl seat covers and swirling chrome bases under the "tulip chairs" that allow for an easier in and out of the game or dining table. Seat covers on arm chairs cover back and sides of metal chair, while armless chairs have a more minor cushion setup and more exposed metal at top and back.
These indoor chairs define "cheery" and are time capsules in appearance. Projecting they have been painted green to enhance their years of service at a beach dining table. Plenty of swimsuit lunches must have happened here - but it also has a classy look that is ready for your dinner party.
Chairs are 25lbs and 30lbs each, based on arms.
Chairs are same dimensions except seat width is 20" versus 17" on the armchair; and 21" versus 29" on the arm width.
Pictured with a not-included 'Thayer Coggin - designed by Milo Baughman' classic dining table; with which these chairs were originally paired. The 8-chairs and table lived originally with a few other green chairs that had paper tags confirming maker; as they said “Made by Lee L. Woodard Sons, Inc - Owosso, Michigan”. No official makers mark on chairs.
Estimating manufacture date as 1970s due to tables age. less
