This Dino Martens rare vintage Mid Century Modernist Italian Murano art glass Mezza Filigrana Bianco Nero swirl freeform oval decorative bowl is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The freeform abstract oval shaped decorative bowl is made in Italy in the Mid Twentieth Century by Dino Martins for Aureliano Toso of hand blown Murano art glass. The Mezza Filigrana technique of infused optic thread cane ribbons is outstanding in the beautiful Bianco Nero, black and white in transparent clear variegated palette swirl pattern design.
This decorative bowl is an exquisite example of Martens' mastery of the Venetian glass technique design made famous by the Italian designer Dino Martens ( 1894 - 1970 ) during his time as artistic director for the legendary Venetian glass company Aureliano Toso.
The Mid Century Modern Murano art glass Mezza Filigrana decorative bowl measures 12 1/4" W X 10 1/2" D X 3" H.
It is in excellent " like new " clean vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. Please see photos for condition reference. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. less
