Spectacularly handsome with too many features to mention but probably the most striking would be the unusual tall Marlborough leg. Some of the other features include crotch mahogany blind doors, dentil crown, hand carved fretwork corner brackets, cranberry silk lined interior, adjustable shelves, hand tooled inset leather writing surface, oak secondary wood, hand dovetailed drawers and beautifully outfitted interior with two drawers, four cubbies and one locking center compartment. (Width given is for the desk portion but the widest point is at the crown and that is 43 inches wide, depth of interior of bookcase is 9 1/2”.) less
