Incredibly Rare Faries Super Guardsman Art Deco Lamp. This lamp is in fully working condition and has no breaks, cracks or dents in it. The finish has a lovely natural patina. When lit the light shines down, perfect for a desk or nightstand by your bed. These lamps were designed by Bert Dickerson and the focused a soft light down to be easier on the eyes, compared to other lamps of the era. The saucer shade flips forward to access the standard size light bulb. The inside of the shade is a blue color with a white reflector to create the soft, downward directed lighting. The lamp is marked Faries on the top of the shade and the bottom of the base.
Measures: 11" Diameter x 17" Tall, the weighted base is 6.5" diameter. less
