This 35.5 x 35.5 inch acrylic on stretched canvas painting was inspired at Dunham Massey, Cheshire, England. I love painting water, lilies and reflections. None of these subjects are easy to paint, but I love a challenge. The picture is always changing, as the water ripples and the sun moves across the sky. I try to capture the essence of the scene. Nature calms me and I love immersing myself in it.
