Stunning modern off-white lacquered desk with brass plated details between the drawers and a brass plated toe kick in the style of Milo Baughman, Karl Springer, Lane. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. It has been professionally cleaned and waxed. The top surface has a stain and there is an all over patina as you would expect with use and age. The brass plating at the toe kick is showing its age with pitting and rust. What a phenomenal desk!! This is an AWESOME… possibly custom-made, modern off-white laminate desk similar in style to many desks of the era by Milo Baughman and Karl Springer, plus Lane also had a similar looking line as well. It has a three-drawer stack with a hanging file drawer on the bottom and a larger pencil drawer under the work surface beside the stack. The desk is covered in an off-white lacquered finish and features lovely brass plated detail at the spacing between the drawers and on the toe kick under the drawer stack. It has adjustable feet, it is rounded on one end, so indicative of the style, and finished all around so it will float beautifully in any room! And although it’s modern in style, we think it has a bit of Art Deco Revival flair! This is JUST the desk you’ve been needing for your new home office or maybe your den needs a fresh new look? Plus, it’s a perfect writing desk for the master or guest bedroom. And would also look great in a college dorm or study. Don’t let this unique, GORGEOUS desk slip away!! Make it yours!!
