Description: These elegant three-drawer bedside tables were created in France, circa 1950. Bombe in shape on all three sides, each chests … more These elegant three-drawer bedside tables were created in France, circa 1950. Bombe in shape on all three sides, each chests stands on cabriole legs ending with bronze sabot feet over a scalloped apron embellished with a brass mount; the sides with serpentine shape, are decorated with two-tone inlaid marquetry veneer. Both shoulders are embellished with bronze acanthus leaf mounts extending down the corners to the feet. The three serpentine drawers are decorated with string inlay and dressed with flourishing brass handles and matching escutcheons. The surface is dressed with a shaped variegated marble top of different shades of green. The nightstands are in very good condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich French polish finish. Some visible restorations to veneer on the sides.
