The restoration to this farmer's table from countryside of Shanxi Province is kept to minimum intentionally. Well-aged elm with some brown remaining color shows naturel warm wood color and texture. The straight legs are mitered to the top. A fine example of traditional Chinese joinery: every piece of wood is calculated to interlock in a seamless way to provide structural strength and enhances the beauty of the design.
