National Theatre is an original poster realized by A.Krauze and M.Mroszczak (Katowice, 1950) in 1975s. Good condition. Hand-signed. Andrzej Krauze (born 7 March 1947) is a Polish-born British cartoonist, illustrator, caricaturist, painter, poster designer and satirist noted for his allegorical, fabulous, symbolic and sometimes scary imagery, as well as his reliance on black ink, bold lines and cross-hatching. His illustrations have been a regular fixture in the British national daily newspaper The Guardian since 1989, and he has also contributed to the English-language newspapers and magazines The New York Times, The Sunday Telegraph, The Times, International Herald Tribune, New Scientist, The Independent on Sunday, The Bookseller, New Statesman, Modern Painters, Campaign, The Listener, New Society and Story Teller. He won the Victoria and Albert Museum Award for Illustration in 1996, and the Ranan Lurie Political Cartoon Award in 2003. Marcin Jan Mroszczak (born January 10, 1950 in Katowice ) - one of the founders and co-owner of the Corporate Profiles DDB group, creative director of the DDB Warszawa advertising agency , board member of several companies from the group; graphic artist, designer, author of theater and film posters, from 2011 to 2015 a social advisor to the President of the Republic of Poland. Son of professor Józef Mroszczak , graphic artist, one of the founders of the Polish school of posters. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw , defended his diploma in the poster studio of professor Henryk Tomaszewski. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
