A renowned decoration technique in Japan's lacquerware creation, MAKI-E gilding applies gold in multiple yet thin layers. Pictures are drawn by sprinkling ultrafine gold powders over wet lacquer.
O-yoroi helmet is a Japanese armor worn by the samurai class of feudal Japan.
