These beautifully executed, highly coloured designs are from a remarkable portfolio called the Répertoire du goût moderne, printed in Paris in 1929. The portfolio represents the best of Art Deco design and in its forward, the editors describe the collection of prints this way: "After organizing the dining room, the living room and their nooks and crannies - smoking room, small bar, office, kitchen - we have put together designs for a variety of needs, each of which take into consideration intimacy and study."
