Very beautiful pair of Art Deco bronze bookends with stretching cats on a black marble base. The pair is signed by Louis Riche (1877-1949), a famous French animalier who specialized in cat sculptures.
Signed, has founders signature Patrouilleau and is marked Medaille d'Or.
