Superb modernist style in this chic, streamline gilt bronze fish. Pared to essential details, this piece really captures the movement of a swimming fish, with minimal detail, but absolute accuracy. Quite a wonderful object. Mounted into a plexiglass cube plinth, which is all original. Sculpture can rotate on block. Please excuse any little dust specks in the photos.

The sculpture alone, measures about 5"x 2.5"x 2" on a 2”x 2.25”x 2.5” block. As mounted, it measures 5.25"x 2.5"x 4". In excellent condition with minor/normal age-related patina and light handling wear to the plexi block. No crazing to the block. Sculpture in marked with Gerber's co-joined initials on the interior curve of the tail. less
