It is a vintage silver gelatin print which is mounted to the original exhibition mount which is signed and dated by Henri in pencil recto. The image is in perfect condition and was purchased by me 12 years ago from a reputable photography gallery in Aspen, Colorado. I will include the original paperwork. The image has a museum quality mat which is also included.

Florence was born NY in 1893 to a French father and German mother. Her mother died in 1895 and her father took her to Europe spending time in Paris, Vienna, Rome and Berlin. She initially studied Piano and then took up painting and then photography. Her Biography is fascinating for a woman of that time period. She was one of the first important female photographers. less
