This is an Absolutely Beautiful - Very Fine Quality - Rare Original Matching Pair of Antique English Sheffield Silver Plate Spoon Warmers. They Come from the Classic Victorian Aesthetic Movement Era. They are Done in a Wonderful Figurative Nautical Seashell Design. They have a Variety of Seashells That Includes Snails, Clams, Mollusks as well as Seaweed and Rocks. They have the Documented English Diamond Registry Mark that was Used From 1868 to 1883. When the Mark is Deciphered it Accurately Provides the Following Documented England Information. There is an A That Confirms that They Were Made in the Year 1871, There is Another A that Indicates they were Made in the Month of December. There is a Number 7 that Indicates the Day of that Month so They Were Made on December 7th 1871. There is Also Another Number 7 that Denotes the "Bundle" and a Number 1 "Class Code" that Denotes "Metal". They are Signed - Maker Marked HA EA FA - This being The Atkins Brothers Silverplate Company in the Town of Sheffield England. They are Also Marked E. P. N. S - Translation Electro Plate on Nickel Silver. Nickel Silver is a Hard White Metal and was Only Used By the Premier Sheffield Silverplate Companies. The Set is in Excellent Condition with No Damage - No Repairs - Appear to have Seen Very Little Use Over the Years.
