A Villeroy & Boch plate in blue and white ceramic, … more A beautiful detailed centerpiece, two whippets under a palm tree. A Villeroy & Boch plate in blue and white ceramic, above a shaped bronze base, with two entwined palms sheltering two dogs or greyhounds, modeled after Pierre-Jules Menne's Two Whippets at play. Possibly made by the British Elkington & Co, Birmingham You can find similar sculptural models made in the 1960s in by the Spanish designer Valenti. These models also can be seen with a stag under a palm tree. This particular centerpiece in bronze and ceramics is certainly special and the combinations of colors is absolutely define!
