Hand forged in southwest France circa 1870 in Gothic style, the "Serviteur" sits on three curved legs the end with a decorative twist, with one straight leg that makes it easy to push up against a firelplace. The set includes four tools with heavy bronze handles including a shovel, tongs and broom in excellent condition. The free standing pedestal is dressed at the top with a round bronze pediment which matches the handles of the pieces. The tall elegant fireplace essential is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich patinated black finish.
