An impressive and large custom made 55” center or breakfast pedestal table by Alfonso Marina with a fine parquetry center and cross-banding border, a techniques in which the brands excels. The top sits on a centered pedestal base of gracefully carved legs.
This lovingly maintained center table is well-made and solid. The handcrafted finish, for which Alfonso Marina is also renown, has the warm, beautiful and distinctive patina of an antique. Like most pieces in the collection, much of its beauty derives from the artistry of the design and execution of its superb craftsmanship.
