It is an advertising box that reads: "Carland Cheese Full Cream Bit A Cheddar Cheese Carland Mich". This size cheese box is hard to find and highly collectible. The lastest records we could find on Carland Cheese was an inspection record dated 1918. The box is in solid condition and the labeling is hard to read but certainly readable. We love the patina and condition as it was obviously a chairished piece. Would make a gorgeous display piece or prized addition to any collection. less
