A design that has stood the test of time, our hand stitched Samara quilt is an eye-catching piece to complete your bedroom or dining room décor. Echoing the principles of Sufism, the symmetrical grid-like design flows across the cloth like stars in the night sky, symbolizing the universe and constellations.
These complex patterns in indigo blue with bright white details and touches of black are created using sophisticated resist printing techniques. The mud-resist printed fabric is sprinkled with sawdust to keep the lines crisp, before dipping it into vats of colorful dye. The dyed cloth is washed and as it dries in the sun, the black and blue areas of the design develop, and the resist areas are revealed as white.
Available in three sizes, layer the larger 90” x 180” quilt over a queen bed, or drape the 60” x 85”/60" x 108" variant over a twin/twin-XL bed, couch or table for a striking quilted tablecloth. You can also take it with you for a quilted picnic blanket.
*Some color rub-off is to be expected in indigo hand printed textiles. We recommend cold washing separately before use.

Protect from direct sunlight when using.
Hand or machine wash separately in cold water in a short, low-spin, gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent without any bleach or fabric softeners.
Do not soak or wring the fabrics. Scrub gently if needed.
Tumble dry on low heat or air dry in the shade.
