Would probably … more This darling little ceramic vase is a traditional hand-painted enamel vessel from the early to mid 20th century. Would probably go well with your pattern on pattern country interiors or be your prized focal point in your minimalist interiors...then you can tell people it's from the 19th century (wink, wink).

But really, this vase must be from between 1921 up to 1941 when all imports to the U.S. were required to have the "Made in..." stamp on the product. Then, when WWII started there were no imports from Japan until 1947 when items were labeled "Made in Occupied Japan" up until 1952. After this period it is believed that stickers were used instead of stamping; Our little cutie has both, the "Made In.." stamp plus the artist or company signature. less
