Be prepared to be blown away (literally!) with this Vintage Hunter Fan & Ventilating Co. Inc. Century 16 inch oscillating fan. Black with black & silver base plate showing Cat. No. 262 Type C-16, serial number E59699. Has four 7 1/2" blades, a 18" X 4 1/2" cage and is 23" tall, operates perfectly with three speed switch, a long power cord and has a felt bottom base. This fan has 3 speed adjustment and all speeds work correctly. Fan’s oscillating knob and mechanism move freely. Tilt hinge works so fan can be angled. Hunter fans have very quiet motors and are excellent air movers. This model was produced between 1930 and 1935. Cage and blades are fully intact and the Hunter Century logo emblem is still attached to front of cage. The power cord appeared to have been replaced, and the original prong head reused. Fan base is cast iron and heavy enough to stay stationary on desk or can be bolted to surface.
