Early 19th century hand carved wood Federal mirror with a 15" diameter convex mirror. This stunning piece features a carved eagle surmounting ornately carved acanthus leaves at the top and tapering to a point at the bottom, as well as, some open work scroll around the frame of the mirror with an outer ball detail. Finished in a burnished gold gilt with dark undertones. Exact age and origin unknown. Ready to hang with two hooks on the back! Originally purchased for $9750 in 2007.

The frame is structurally sound and the mirror is believed to be original, as it shows a few minor age spots consistent with age.
