Intricate carvings are plentiful on this cabinet including florals, foo dogs and other animals, with warriors yielding their weapons. This is a two-piece cabinet with two upper cabinet doors revealing a spacious cubby with shelf and two interior drawers, primitively dovetailed. Below is an area of intricate carvings and two more pull out drawers. Lower cabinet consists of two more pull out drawers and inner cubby space behind two pull out doors. All hardware is brass and original to the piece. Some carvings are further enhanced by black lacquer trim and gold gilding. Spruce is believed to be wood type and circa 1870. less
