This desk retains the original finish, the insides shows the gloss and true original color., features a sliding letter tray and leather panel, there are cracks in the leather, as can be seen on photos.

Drawers have hand cut dove tailed joints.. features handsome twisted columns on each side
The drop front has a counterweight mechanism that supports the lid gently when opened.
Small knobs have been added to the drawer at the top and the drop lid,... None of the locks work..
There are veneer chips in various places, attempt has been made to picture all of them, but I am limited in the number of pictures I can post, I will gladly send more photos upon request.
As can be seen in the photos there are cracks on front of drop lid, also on the interior surface, and cracks in leather, as previously noted, and can be seen in photos.

Measures 44" w. x 24" d. x 64.5" h. the desk top is 30" h less
