Two reversible … Read more Stunning, gorgeous iconic rare design 1960’s coffee table bench. Designed by Merton L. Gershun for American of Martinsville. Two reversible removable cushions, one side with vinyl and the other side black and white speckled material, which has the original tags attached( they can be removed). The cushions form a bench on one side of the bench and on the other side is a drawer with a brass handle and markers tags inside. Next to the drawer is an area with original smoked glass. This area can be used to set drinks on, used for a magazine holder. This piece has been totally, lovingly restored. It sits on conical legs with matching walnut stretchers. Cushions are in great condition with the brass air holes on the side. Structurally sound. Smoked glass has a few scratches, consistent with age, no chips or cracks. See less
