I did this painting after I went … more "Summer's End Watch" is a mixed media painting by Tracy Allegro of Tracyallegroart. I did this painting after I went for a walk and encountered a droopy, past its prime huge sunflower. I love sunflowers in full bloom but I found this faded one to have such a graceful and elegant beauty that I decided I must paint it! Im also a crow lover so it felt right to put the crow atop the stem. The painting is done in acrylic and many many layers of collage using my own painted papers, handmade papers and found papers. It was truly a labor of love to create! Its 24 x 24 on a gallery wrapped canvas with deep 1 1/2 inch sides ready to grace your space and bring the essence of those last summer's days with it. less
